Our service department is staffed with highly trained and knowledgeable technicians. They are factory certified and attend manufacturer service training updates annually. We pride ourselves on the superior service we provide for every piece of equipment that we sell. Our staff is helpful and friendly, as well as very knowledgeable. Jack Briody, our service manager, has worked at Rhode Island Harvesting Company, Inc. for more than 24 years. Billy McCusker was hired as a small engine and lawn & garden equipment technician in October 2013. Both worked in the industry for many years prior to joining the Rhode Island Harvesting Company family.
We are happy to welcome and introduce an additional member to our service department. David Sherman joined us April 3, 2017. David has an extensive diesel master technician background, training in electronic diagnostics, electrical and mechanical services. He has worked in the equipment and truck repair industry for 25 years. We are pleased that David has joined our family.
Repair Service and Preventive Maintenance are charged based on the time spent to complete the work. We do not charge by a flat rate schedule, nor do we round up the technicians time. In addition to servicing all of the products we sell, we also service most other manufacturers brands.
We make House / Job Site Service Calls. Our stocked service truck will come to you when it makes more sense than hauling the equipment to our service shop. Give Jack, the Service Manager, a call and he will schedule an appointment. He will not leave you hanging around all day waiting for him or Dave to show up.
We also offer Pick up and Delivery. The fee is based on the distance from our shop. If possible, we may schedule multiple stops on a run, and split the fee to reduce the cost to our customers. Call Jack at (401) 377-2670 or (401) 377-4022 to schedule pick up of your equipment.
